Bobbi Brown is one of my all time favourite make-up brands, although, they’re a little expensive, their products are extraordinary quality, long-lasting, durable and reliable. Their Bronzer Brush and Ultra Precise Eyeliner Brush are two that I’ve had for a few years now and even with regular, almost daily use, they are still going strong.
At Christmas I was gifted a Bobbi Brown gift set, which included a travel size version of their Face Blender Brush.
A few years back I had seen a YouTuber (Tanya Burr I think) use this in one of her videos and I was intrigued by how well the brush blended her foundation out to give a smooth, even, flawless base.
In the video the brush looked like their bronzer brush, albeit a little smaller and slightly more fluffy and I wondered how the brush didn’t soak up a lot of the product, even when I started using mine, I was concerned that it would soak up a lot of, if not most of my foundation but it doesn’t.
At the time I saw the video I knew it was a brush I’d like to try but for one reason or another, I didn’t pick it up at the time and then I kinda forgot about it until I received that set at Christmas.
Despite being soft and fluffy there is some density to the brush. This brush does a fantastic job at buffing out foundation to leave a flawless even streak free finish to any foundation, it just works so well. I haven’t found it to shed either, in fact, none of my Bobbi brushes shed, another sign of their quality.
Out of all my foundation brushes this is my go-to brush and the one I use the most. This is rare for to be like this with brushes, especially foundation brushes. I go between various brushes and would rarely stick to just one particular brush for my foundation, this brush changed that.
The brush is £33, so it’s not cheap or the most purse-friendly, but it’s one that you will get your monies worth from and one that you can be sure will last you a long time.
I’ve used this with liquid and powder foundations and it works for both, without issue.
